Sounds too good to be true? Well, we admit we have twisted the words a little to get your attention and if you are expecting tequila shooters, you are bound for a little letdown. What we do have up our sleeves are 5 magical beverages that you may have overlooked that can aid digestion, flush out toxins and ultimately help you shed pounds. Cheers, here’s to skinny sipping!

1. Green Tea

Green tea is made from unfermented leaves and reportedly contains the highest concentration of powerful antioxidants called polyphenols. Antioxidants are substances that scavenge free radicals — damaging compounds in the body that alter cells, tamper with DNA (genetic material), and even cause cell death. Free radicals occur naturally in the body, but environmental toxins (including ultraviolet rays from the sun, radiation, cigarette smoke, and air pollution) also give rise to these damaging particles. Some researchers speculate that substances in green tea known as polyphenols, specifically the catechins, are responsible for the herb’s fat-burning effect.

  1. The Papaya smoothie is so delicious to drink, I like drinking it. Maybe you guys can try banana and orange with ice blended, it nice to drink too.
